Tom Stade
/in Comedians /by Taking ThePisteSTAR OF BBC ONE’S LIVE AT THE APOLLO, MICHAEL McINTYRE’S ROADSHOW & THE JOHN BISHOP SHOW
Since arriving in the UK, Canadian émigré Tom Stade has steadily earned a reputation as one of the most original and exciting stand-up talents around. He instantly made a splash on the UK circuit with his magnetic stage presence, irrepressible charm and first-class story-telling, and after years topping the bill and playing at international comedy festivals around the globe, he is now established as a leading touring act in his own right, and finds himself well on the road to being a household name.
Paul McCaffrey
/in Comedians /by Taking ThePistePaul McCaffrey is a stand-up comedian and comic actor, who quickly established himself as one of the most exciting new acts around, winning both The London Paper and the Latitude Festival new act competitions.
Paul has been seen on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), heard on Russell Kane’s Whistle-Stop Tour (BBC Radio 2) and is a regular guest on The Matt Forde Show (talkSPORT). He has also done studio warm-up for The Morgana Show (Channel 4) and That Sunday Night Show (ITV 1) and can currently be seen at some of the top comedy clubs in the country.

Zoe Lyons
/in Comedians /by richYou’ll know Zoe from just about every TV comedy panel show going (Mock The Week, Dave One Night stand, Mcintyres Roadshow) and BBC R4s Just a minute and The News Quiz. Not only is her stand-up played to packed out theatres all around the UK and internationally, she was also recognised as the best comedian of 2015 by fellow comedians in the Chortle awards.
Tony Law
/in Comedians /by nicoleWinner of the Chortle Award for Breakthrough act in 2012… 14 years after starting out in comedy. He was also nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award the same year.
Before he says a word, his look signals the gig we are in for. Shock-haired, with luscious moustache and breeches salvaged from Captain Scott’s expedition to the South Pole, Law is a man out of his time. Throw in an “epic 1960s movie voice”, which brings a stentorian quality to his stream of fabulation, and physical self-assertion – he looms over his audience – and you have a recipe for instant, amusing disconcertion. He brings us in on the game, too – always ensuring that we are collaborators in the ridiculousness of the ancient Norse game of “scoop-mud”, say, or in the time his jailbird uncle turned into a dragon.

Ian D Montfort
/in Comedians /by nicoleIan D Montfort is the psychic alter ego of Tom Binns…
One thing’s for sure, Tom Binns makes an extremely convincing psychic. His white-clad creation Ian D. Montfort is half Shirley Ghostman and half Derek Acorah, with a gift for gently undercutting his initial guesses about the audience that leaves everyone in stitches, even his victims. We saw Ian D Montfort at The Fringe Festival this August and took an instant liking.
Ian will be appearing in the Alps from 6th – 10th January
Monday 6 Jekyll, Chamonix
Tuesday 7 Bar Mount Blanc, Les Arc
Thursday 9 Jacks Bar, Meribel
Friday 10 Loop bar, Tignes
Tom Binns’s inspired alter-egos, that itself sends up the contrivances of those peddlers of false hope and spurious contact with the beyond — mediums, clairvoyants, and whatnot. Yet here’s the twist: the more Binns invites you to scoff the more he delivers the goods in such a way as to push sceptics towards open-mouthed incredulity.

Stuart Goldsmith
/in Comedians /by nicoleStuart Goldsmith is fast becoming a tour de force on the comedy circuit and its easy to see why. Well timed, sharp comedy, delivered with charm and charisma by the bucket-full. Whats not to like about this fast ascending comedian?
Finalist in ITV series Show me the Funny, with 4 and 5 star reviews for his Edinburgh shows Stuart is also the critics choice… come and find out why!
Stuart’s infectious banter channels the effortless charisma and quick-fire timing honed over a youth misspent as a street performer.
‘Sparky goings-on and charm to spare, as Stuart Goldsmith marries pitch-perfect audience repartee with cleverly woven tales of the everyday’
The Independent
THAT was rocking a room!
