Bobby Mair

Bobby Mair has been performing stand-up all across Canada, making audiences laugh with his dark and crass sense of humor. He was nominated for Best Stand-Up Newcomer at the 10th Annual Canadian Comedy Awards, and has competed in Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off. He also won the Judges’ Choice for the Stand Up and Bite Me comedy competition.

Bobby came to the UK to appear in the Edinburgh Fringe festival 2012 and was an instant hit amongst British audiences. Supremely dark and uneasy, Bobby lures you into a world that somehow you’re not supposed to enjoy, but you do. A lot!

Go and see this unheard of comic, so that you can tell all your friends all about it and they won’t really understand what you’re talking about, but you will have won, because that’s what you set out to do.

“An increasingly distinctive, imaginative act… brilliant, genuinely unexpected lines are added to the mix. At this rate, it won’t be long until he’s huge.”

Chortle

“One of the funniest comedians on the circuit at the moment… hitting new heights of comedic brilliance.”
TimeOut

“He’s got a natural optimism and love of silliness that leaves you feeling remarkably positive… a winning blend of polemic and off-beat whimsy.”
